  • I still feel like I don't know anything about DeLay's alleged corruption, but I still want to see him gone. What bugs me about DeLay is the fact that he doesn't want to play by the rules of Senate proceedings, in general.

    Take the filibuster issue, for example: DeLay is trying to cast filibusters in a negative light. The truth is, the Senate is should be able to reach agreements on matters like judicial nominations. Filibusters protect we, the people, from short-sighted majority political agendas.

  • BBC News Friday, 1 April, 2005, 07:17: Senior Republican Tom DeLay, who leads the House of Representatives, attacked the US courts for allowing Mrs Schiavo to die, calling them "out of control".

    This man is insane! He shows utter contempt for the same very same Constitution that he swore to protect. It leads me to wonder what Republicans and the State of Texas are thinking(or not)to allow this man to stay in office.
