CNN Quick Poll

Lou Dobbs has a quick on-line poll about DeLay:

Do you believe House Majority Leader Tom Delay is the victim of a campaign by the “liberal” media to embarrass him?


Even with the bias in the question, the results are overwhemingly NO. As of this writing, it's 93% "No", 7% "Yes".

If you want to vote, go here and look a little down on the LEFT. But I'm not a big fan of these things.

  • Tom DeLay has to go; hell would be a good start. I called my Representative and invested my two cents to urge him to demand DeLay resign. Hey, look at his face. That's not the face of an honest human.

    Please do your best to urge Tom Delay to resign from his post. He has become an walking scandal

    and destroyed any hope of credibility. The questionable junkets, the inflammatory actions of

    the Schiavo case, and his dealings with the Taliban in Sugarland, Texas have made him a magnet

    for controversy of the worst kind.

    Please urge Tom Delay to make good on "The Contract with America".

    we propose not just to change its policies, but even more important, to restore the bonds of

    trust between the people and their elected representatives. - Preface, Contract of America"

    It must pain you to know, having also have signed "The Contract with America", that many

    Republican within Texas have called for his resignation. Please join them and stand up for

    common ethics and decency - It may be too late for Tom Delay, but your commitment to "The

    Contract with America" may be reflected in our own actions.

  • If DeLay goes down, what happens to all that money in his war chest? It is my understanding that the huge amount of money he had access to was part of his arsenal, so who might end up being custodian of it?

  • Tom Delay is a POSTER CHILD for the hypocrisies in this current republican party. The rules apply to everyone else...and if you don't like them, just change the law to fit your ideology. WOW...sounds like this party has lost it's basic core values. GET HIM OUT!
