Ignoring advice

David wrote earlier this morning about DeLay's choice of playing to the jury or playing to the public through the press. Dan Balz at The Washington Post has an interesting take on that...

"If his lawyers have advised DeLay not to talk about the case, he has ignored their counsel, giving interviews on television with the frequency of someone who has just won an election rather than one who has just received legal papers," Balz writes today.

  • Are you sure Delay is the MOST corrupt?

There are a lot of Republicans in Washington.

  • Please - go to Blogger settings and check off "Show word verification for comments". This will prevent all these bozos from automatically attaching advertising comments to your blog. Seeing that stuff is really annoying.

  • Delay comes off like he thinks people are such drooling idiots that he can just say it's all "baseless" and "partisan," and viewers will trust him.

He looks delusional, and when Chris Matthews made him repeat the wild story about the Pelosi conspiracy, he almost looked tired of telling it. No details of course.

Matthews basically coached and prodded him through saying that it was all a coordinated attack for some dark, unfair reason, etc.

It was laughable. Maybe Chris was intentionally letting DeLay spin his nonsense, I don't know. But he got tough again when it came to Cindy Sheehan.

Hope no ads come with this post... too tired to figure that out.
