I'm shocked that anyone would be stupid enough to put up a Delay yard sign in the first place! I guess the devious mind of a "compassionately conservative" Repugnican knows no shame.

Just a guess here, but I assume the person had the yard sign, but the line through it, and put it up in their own yard.

I don't think they wrote over a clean Delay sign that was in someone's yard.

But, as I say, just a guess.
